
Hope C. Tarr is the award-winning author of twenty-five historical and contemporary romances and four screenplays including “Stolen Kiss” (in development) with Emmy winner, Linda Yellen, and “Operation Cinderella,” a TV pilot based on Hope’s bestselling Suddenly Cinderella rom-com series. IRISH EYES, set in Gilded and Jazz Age New York City, is her women’s historical fiction debut.
Hope has been featured in numerous entertainment news programs and publications, including NBC’s Today Show, Time Out New York, and The New York Post. She is a founder and curator of the popular Manhattan-based Lady Jane’s Salon® romance and women’s fiction reading series, now in its tenth year with satellites nationwide.
Prior to launching her writing career, Hope earned a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Education, both from The Catholic University of America. She lives in Manhattan with her fiancé and their rescue cats and frequently can be found exploring the city’s historic sites and neighborhoods, green markets and parks, museums and art galleries, wine bars and restaurants—all inspirations for her novels.
